About Panda Bear
Panda Bear’s owners surrendered her when a deputy came to investigate a report of neglect. She was quickly rehabilitated and settled right into her foster home. Before long, she and her foster home’s other horses were inseparable! So her foster home decided to adopt her in June 2014. She returned her in January 2016 after she was unable to find a trainer she felt comfortable sending her to for training. Panda Bear met a family in May 2016 and was quickly adopted as their new horse.
Evaluation and Training
Panda Bear’s foster home says that she’s a sweet horse who is easy to handle so far. She gets along with the other horses, she’s easy to halter and catch. She stands for grooming, farrier work, and veterinary work. Her foster home has rubbed her all over with a towel and she didn’t mind. She also stood well for a bareback pad, and her foster home will continue working with her.
