About Shining Armor
Congrats to Shining Armor! He came to BEHS in Nov. 2013 from a neglect case, and he quickly gained weight thanks to the help of his foster home (and he was her first foster horse!). Once he was healthy, his foster home discovered he was broke to ride. He went up for adoption and was adopted less than two weeks later. Congrats to Sherra and Shining Armor!
Evaluation and Training
Shining Armor's foster home says he's a bit pushy on the ground, but they're working on this. He ties well and stands for grooming and knows how to longe. He stands well to be saddled, and he stands for mounting. His foster home has ridden him and says he walks, trots, and canters under saddle well and should make a very nice riding horse.
