About Cappuccino
Cappuccino was placed with BEHS when her owners could not care for her. Another Bluebonnet Horse Expo adoption! Cappuccino is an approx. 17 year old, Thoroughbred mare who came to BEHS when her owners could not keep her. She turned out to be nicely trained to ride and was adopted by someone who applied at the Bluebonnet Horse Expo - congrats to Cappuccino and her family!Cappuccino crossed the Rainbow Bridge in June 2016. Our condolences go out to her family.
Evaluation and Training
Cappuccino has nice ground manners and is a friendly mare. She has had good training in her life and is easy going enough for kids and adults to ride at the walk, trot and canter, with a plain snaffle bit. Her trot is very smooth and she is not spooky in the arena or out on the trail. She can lead or follow on the trail. She can side pass and do other lateral work with ease. She is calm doing obstacles like the cowboy curtains, bridge and pool noodle car wash. She does not neck rein just yet but we will be working on it.
