About Justin Time

Justin Time’s owners surrendered him when they were investigated for neglect. When he arrived, it was clear he hadn’t been handled much and he was emaciated. But he gained weight quickly and at the same time learned to live with humans. EQUUS magazine even followed his transformation on their Facebook page #Journeys series! His adopter began watching him as soon as he arrived at BEHS, and when he went up for adoption she immediately put in her adoption application. He joins a horse she’s owned for over 18 years, and she plans to show him in halter and showmanship and eventually teach him to drive. Congrats to Justin and Chyrl!

Evaluation and Training

Justin was emaciated when he arrived, and he had not been handled much before coming to BEHS. With good care, he quickly gained weight and blossomed into a wonderful young horse. He loves attention and learns quickly, and his foster home now has him leading well, has taught him to pick up his feet for the farrier, and taught him to stand well for grooming. He’s learning to longe. He’s a wonderful mover and could be a cute trail or open show horse.
