About Wesley
Wesley was surrendered by his owners when he was investigated for neglect. He was emaciated when he arrived at BEHS. He began gaining weight, and his adopter met him, fell in love, and agreed to adopt and finish out his rehab. Congrats to Wesley and Pamela!
Evaluation and Training
Wesley is well halter broke. He’s easy to catch, lead, and load. He moves away from pressure on his side and is courteous and easy to be around. Any further training will be evaluated once he’s rehabilitated. UPDATE April 2014: Wesley’s foster home has worked with him a little bit. He stands for saddling and bridling and seems to have been ridden in the past, but he either wasn’t well trained or is rusty. He’s a sweet guy who should come around quickly, though, with a little work!
