About Neela
Neela was seized by law enforcement due to cruelty and neglect and was later awarded to Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society by the courts. When she arrived, she was emaciated but gained weight quickly thanks to the skill of her foster home. She was adopted the day before Valentine’s 2015 and joined recently adopted BEHS horse Banks at their new home. Congrats Neela, Banks, and the Osborne family!
Evaluation and Training
Neela halters, leads, and loads well. She was used by Mark and Miranda Lyon in a horse starting clinic at the 2014 Bluebonnet Horse Expo. They worked through ground work, saddling, and were able to mount during the clinic. She did well and is a quick learner, but she'll need an adopter who can bring her along. With training, she could do almost anything!
