About Lil Buttercup
Lil Buttercup, her foal Lil Firecracker, and several other horses were removed from negligent owners and placed with BEHS. Lil Buttercup attended the 2015 Bluebonnet Horse Training Challenge, met an adopter, and went to a new home!
Evaluation and Training
Lil Buttercup is a friendly mare who is easy to handle. She leads well and is learning to load well. She stands still for grooming, fly spraying, and hoof care. Once rehabilitated, she would make a cute pet, companion for another horse, or could be taught to drive.
Lil Buttercup still needs to gain some weight and fill in over her topline, but she's available now at a reduced fee to someone who can finish her rehabilitation.
