About Mani
Mani was found estray and placed with BEHS when his owners were not located. When Mani arrived, he had an old stifle injury. He’s sound in pasture but acts uncomfortable under saddle so we started seeking a companion/pet home for him. A long-time Bluebonnet supporter recently got her own place and needed a companion for her Thoroughbred gelding. Mani seemed like a great candidate!
Mani's adopter let us know she lost Mani to colic. Bluebonnet extends their sorrow and condolences to his adopter and BEHS connections.
Evaluation and Training
Mani’s foster home says he's a super sweet horse who is a joy to be around. He stood nicely for the farrier, but was a bit sore on the left rear possibly due to a stifle injury. He also stood nicely for the vet for his exam, routine vaccinations and teeth floating.
His foster home can saddle him, bridle him, and longe him. Unfortunately, he has some lameness that leaves him unridable. He would be a great pet or companion for a lonely horse.
