About Lucky Charm
Lucky Charm's dam came to Bluebonnet from a neglect case and she was pregnant when she arrived. She received good care throughout her time with Bluebonnet and had Lucky Charm with no complications. Lucky Charm trained for the in hand division of the 2016 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge but was unable to compete after a long trailer trip to reach the Expo. She returned to the Expo in 2017 and was adopted by someone who had met her, and liked her, the previous year. Sadly, Lucky Charm was only with her adopter a few months before she suffered a tragic pasture accident and crossed The Rainbow Bridge.
Evaluation and Training
Lucky Charm is a feisty filly who is a beautiful mover. She's probably going to test her trainer/handle, but she is very athletic and should make an awesome horse in almost any discipline!She's learned to lead, load in a trailer, stand tied, and have her feet handled. She's also learned to trot in hand, pivot, and navigate obstacles.Her current foster home has taught her some tricks: pedestal work, smiling on command, etc. They say she's sweet and smart. She has potential to do just about anything for her lucky adopter!
