About Lil Sister
Lil Sister was removed from negligent owners and placed with BEHS. Lil Sister competed with her foster home in the Non Pro In Hand Division of the 2016 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge and won 2nd place. She also attended the 2017 Bluebonnet Horse Expo and was adopted by someone who met her at the event and planned to use her in her therapy program. Lil Sister did not work out for the program and was returned in May 2018. Little Sister moved to a new foster home in 2019. They fell in love with her, and her pasture mate Little Ritchie, and decided to adopt both of them. Lil Sister and Little Ritchie became their adopters first horses!
Evaluation and Training
Lil Sister is a sweet mare who is nice to handle on the ground. She stands for grooming and farrier work. She is good to catch, lead, and load and she navigates trail obstacles in hand!
She has a sore back - and we suspect arhtiris - so she is available as a non-riding horse.
Her foster home worked with her in 2016 and won 2nd place in the In Hand division of the 2016 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge.
