About Delano
Delano was removed from negligent owners by law enforcement and placed with Bluebonnet. Once he gained weight we realized he suffered lameness from an old injury. The lameness left him unridable - fortunately, his adopters weren't looking for a ridable horse! They wanted a horse that kids could pet, lead, groom, and love. And Delano fit the bill. Unfortunately Delano was returned to the rescue in March 2021 when his adopter was no longer able to care for him.
Evaluation and Training
Delano is a sweet horse who is easy to catch, lead, and load. He is lame from old injuries he suffered before coming to BEHS. Because of this, he is available for adoption as a companion/pet only.
