About Judge Roy Bean
Judge Roy Bean is a handsome pony gelding with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He was originally found estray and placed with Bluebonnet when his owners were not located. He competed in the 2017 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge, where he won the Non-Pro Under Saddle Division, and was adopted at the event to be a family riding pony. He was returned in 2018 when he didn’t work out for that family, and again in 2025 due to life changes—not through any fault of his own. Each of his adopters wanted the best for him, and now he’s ready to find his true forever home.

- Judge Roy Bean was recently returned (late September 2025), and we’re not sure when he was last ridden so he should be brought back to work slowly.
Why He’s Amazing:
He has consistently impressed his trainers and foster homes with his bravery, quick mind, and eagerness to please. Cute, bold, and athletic, he could make an excellent trail, pleasure, or even show pony for the right person. While he is spirited and best suited for a confident rider, Judge promises to be a fun and forward partner for someone who appreciates his intelligence and willing nature.
