About Cindera
Cindera was placed with Bluebonnet by animal control. She spent four months with a youth handler in 2017 to prepare to compete in the Non Pro In Hand division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge and placed 2nd in her division. She was adopted by someone who met her at the event. Congrats Joanna S!
Evaluation and Training
Cindera spent a few weeks with a trainer who confirmed she was broke to ride - and gaited! A few months after being in training, she moved to a youth foster home to prepare for the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. She was far too green for an inexperienced youth rider, though, so she will be competing in the in hand division. For this, she'll be learning to work in hand and to work over trail obstacles.
She's going to need to be restarted under saddle, so she is not going to be a horse for a novice or timid rider at this time.
