About Max
Max was removed from negligent owners by law enforcement and placed with Bluebonnet by animal control. He was rehabilitated and then prepared for the Non Pro Under Saddle Division of the 2017 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. He was adopted at the event and joins Bluebonnet horse Baron - a horse he had been fostered with earlier - at his new home! Congrats to Elton D!
Evaluation and Training
Max's foster home found out that he is broke to ride. She'll be riding him for four months to prepare him for the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. She says she thinks he's going to be the kind of horse who can do it all - even be a kids or 4-H horse. She's riding him at a walk, trot, and canter. They're navigating trail obstacles and she hopes to have him handling small jumps by the time of the Challenge.
