About Apple Jack
Apple Jack was removed from negligent owners and placed with Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society by the sheriff's department. She gained weight, but as she did we discovered her conformation was so poor that multiple experts advised she may break down if ridden. Fortunately, she found a home as a pet and doesn't have to worry about being ridden!
Evaluation and Training
Apple Jack is very sweet. She's easy to catch and halter and stands well for grooming. Unfortunately, Apple Jack has very poor conformation, with long pasterns that drop excessively. She has been evaluated by multiple professionals, including someone with exerperience with Curly horses, who all agree that she likely will not stay sound for riding. We're offering her for adoption as a pet/companion horse only (no riding).
