About Mickey Blue Eyes
Mickey Blue Eye’s dam, Co-Co Lady, was pregnant when she arrived at Bluebonnet from a neglect case. She had Mickey at an experienced foster home. Mickey had good handling while in his foster home. He was adopted to become a riding pony when he was not quite a year old.
Through no fault of his own, Mickey Blue Eyes was returned in May of 2025.
Evaluation and Training
Mickey Blue Eyes is good at being cute right now! His foster home has been teaching to be caught, to lead, and to load. He’s going to be a flashy riding or driving pony for someone once he’s old enough to train.
While we do not know Mickey’s sire, his dam was only 12 hands so we expect him to be a small pony.
Mickey’s scheduled to be gelded on February 20, so he won’t be able to go home with his adopter until a few days after his gelding surgery.
