About Poncy
Poncy was surrendered by her owner when he was no longer able to care for him. She was healthy but had not really broke to ride, but she found an adopter with a teenage daughter who was excited to work with her! We're excited for Poncy's possibilities.
Evaluation and Training
Poncy loads, loads, and stands for the farrier and vet. Poncy is an extremely friendly, outgoing, curious & brave young horse; She is very social with people and animals; She is athletic, smart, willing to learn and really likes to be engaged. She eagerly puts her head into her halter. We call her ‘Miss Personality’ and with the potential to do anything, she will be a super-fun student & partner. She is barefoot with great hooves and is current on shots & coggins.She doesn't appear to have had any training under saddle, and she can get pushy when made to work. She'll need a firm handler with experience with young horses to start her under saddle.
