About Piper
Piper was placed with Bluebonnet when her owner could no longer keep her.Piper's registered name is Hazard’s Mary Hellen.Piper was a trained trail horse and had been ridden by kids in her foster home. She attended the Bluebonnet Horse Expo and found her adopter. Piper found a great match with her adopter and was very beloved. She developed neurological problems and Carolyn made the tough decision to let her cross the Rainbow Bridge.
Evaluation and Training
Piper's foster home has worked with her on the ground, in a round pen, and out on trails. She says Piper reins, yields to leg pressure, and backs. She picks up all 4 hooves and loads well. She lets people touch her anywhere. She can be barn/buddy sour, though, and she doesn't like being stalled.
