About Hansel
Hansel was removed from negligent owners and placed with Bluebonnet by the courts. Hansel came to Bluebonnet with his sister, Gretel. Both are in their mid to late 20s and have been together all of their lives. They're both blind in one eye and serve as each other's support horses. We were worried about how we woudl find two older, unridable ponies a home together - but the perfect home came along! They've been adopted by a facility that does therapy work with horses and kids. Hansel and Gretel will be pet, loved on, and spoiled by many children - which is the perfect life for two older ponies!
Evaluation and Training
Due to his age and loss of vision, Hansel is available as a pet/companion only. He must be adopted along with his sister, Greta.
