About Ida
Ida was placed with Bluebonnet when her owner could no longer keep her. She has been well-cared for all of her life. She was a former endurance horse who was well broke to ride. She attended the Bluebonnet Horse Expo and met her adopter there. Congrats to Jenna B!
Evaluation and Training
Ida's foster home has ridden her and says she is very light in her mouth and very sensitive to leg pressure. She would do best with an intermediate or above rider (a novice might be too hard on her mouth and inadvertently cue her for more speed!). She was used as an endurance horse in the past, so she's logged lots of trail miles.
