About Penny
Penny is a breeding stock Paint mare who was placed with Bluebonnet when her owner could not keep her. Penny turned out to be a well-broke, nice riding horse and was quickly adopted. Congrats to Penny!
Evaluation and Training
Penny spent a few weeks with Hilary LoBue of Hummingbird Hill Horse Training for an evaluation. Hilary believes this mare can do anything and will win blue ribbons if she’s adopted by a show home. She has lovely gaits to go English or western. She has a decent neck rein, a lovely jog and a great stop and back. She will go over obstacles and she will trail ride but may do a slow jog at times rather than walk. "Whoa" and she stops. She has wonderful ground manners, great for farrier and loads in trailer with ease.
Penny would do best with an intermediate rider or with a more novice rider if the rider was working with a trainer.
