About Buck
Buck was placed with Bluebonnet after his former owner had to stop riding due to an injury. Buck’s former owner said he had been a trail riding and roping horse in the past. His foster home introduced him to a friend of hers who fell in love and decided to adopt him and his pasture-mate Star. He returned them both a year later when he had to move and could not take them. His new foster home quickly fell in love and decided to adopt him as a riding horse. Not long after, though, she decided to rehome him (through our rehoming procedures) to a friend who needed a quiet riding horse.

Buck's former owner said he had been a trail, pleasure, and roping horse. He has not been ridden in a while and will need a refresher!
