BEHS 971 – Little Pebbles

Little Pebbes' dam was placed with Bluebonnet when her owner was investigated for neglect. She was pregnant and foaled about six weeks later. Little Pebbles appeare thin, but otherwise healthy, at birth and at his first vet check. By the next morning he was in distress and his veterinarian arrived just as he passed away. We believe he had internal damage or malformed organs due to the severe neglect his dam suffered throughout gestation.
