About Angel
Angel came to BEHS from a neglect case and was severely underweight when she arrived. She recovered slowly, but once she was healthy, we learned that she was well-broke to ride. Angel was adopted by a family who plans to use her for trail riding. Through no fault of her own, Angel was returned in September of 2024.
Angel is competing in the In-Hand 13 and Up Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Chloe Bowen. Angel will be available for adoption on October 4, 2025, during the Bluebonnet Training Challenge and Expo at the Williamson County Expo Center in Taylor, TX. Evaluation and Training
Angel is a very friendly mare. She is the first one in the pasture and easy to catch and lead. She stands tired for grooming, picking up feet and is great for the farrier. Angel is in a pasture with another mare and a mini and does well with them. She is getting used to her new place and learning it is ok not to be with her other foster horse all the time. She loves carrots for treats.
