About Cordova
Cordova came to BEHS from a large-scale neglect case that involved multiple agencies. She was rehabilitated and then placed with an adopter. She was returned in 2013 through no fault of her own. She competed in the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge and her trainer for the event decided to adopt her! Congrats to Carrie and Cordova!
Evaluation and Training
Cordova leads well and loves attention. Her foster home says that Cordova follows her around whenever she’s in the pasture, begging for attention! Her foster home has been working with her and has taught Cordova to longe, carry a saddle, wear a bridle, and line drive. She's had her first few rides, and she's doing well. Cordova has learned to jump cross-country jumps on a longe line and cross trail obstacles in hand. She's a gorgeous mover and has a lot of potential for a lucky adopter!
Cordova is competing with Carrie Bohman in the foster horse under saddle division of the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. She will be available for adoption at the Challenge on October 19th, 2013 at the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Austin, Texas.
