About Chie
Chie is a cute, 21-year-old, mare. She was part of a therapy program in her former life and placed with us when the program disbanded. She’s had a couple of years off, but her foster home has ridden her a few times and lead him children around on her. She’s ready for someone willing to bring her back into work.

Evaluation and Training
Personality & Manners:
- Friendly and patient, especially with children.
- Can be a little slow to catch but responds well to bribes and is easy to halter.
- Walks quietly beside you at any pace.
- Great at feeding time, polite around other horses and people.
- Gets along well with mares and geldings.
Training & Abilities:
- Has been ridden by her foster home at walk, trot, and canter in the pasture.
- Children have ridden her safely under supervision.
- Wears a western saddle comfortably.
- Stands tied for grooming, fly spray, and farrier work.
- Has learned to ground tie.
- Loads well in a trailer.
- With conditioning, she could excel in many activities and is ideal for kids.
Background & Care:
- Has had a couple of years off, so she’s best suited for someone who can bring her back into regular work.
