About Katelyn
Katelyn is a stunning, pinto miniature horse mare. The man who owned Katelyn and her pasture-mates died. His family didn't know how to care for them, and Katelyn and other new foals weren't handled or properly fed. When she arrived at the rescue, Katelyn hadn't been halter trained and was very underweight. Slowly, she gained weight and she learned about people. Her adopters had not had horses before, but they fell in love with Katelyn and decided to give her a home.
Katelyn had been adopted with Onyx and was a beloved pet. Onyx and her human family both mourn her passing. She crossed the Rainbow Bridge at her adopter’s home in October 2021.
