Trella was removed from negligent owners by law enforcement along with several other horses. Her herd was placed with BEHS. She had an untreated wound on a front heal when she arrived and was emaciated. She regained her weight and soundness, but after she had been with us several months she went lame. She continued to get worse, and her veterinarian believed it was related to the untreated wound she has when she arrived. To spare her further pain and suffering, we helped her cross the Rainbow Bridge.
