About Kalseru
Kalseru and several other horses were removed from negligent owners and placed with BEHS by the courts. She gained weight quickly and became a striking, big black horse. She spent a few weeks with a trainer who discovered that she was broke to ride but not well trained. She was quiet and easy-going, though, so she was quickly adopted and goes to join BEHS horses Nugget and River in her new home.
Evaluation and Training
Kalseru spent two weeks in March with a trainer who believes she was broke to ride before coming to BEHS but wasn’t taught much. She’s quite under saddle and easy to handle on the ground. The trainer felt she had potential as a trail or pleasure horse.
