About Shy Mist
Shy Mist was removed from negligent owners in a joint effort between BEHS and law enforcement. Shy Mist spent the spring and summer of 2013 with a foster home who trail rode her and trained her for drill team performances. When the Bluebonnet Horse Expo arrived, her foster home decided she couldn't let her go! Congrats to Twylight and Shy Mist!
Evaluation and Training
Shy Mist appears to have had little handling before coming to BEHS. She leads, loads, and stands tied. In February 2013, she was started under saddle by trainer Mark Lyons. Mark rode her in the arena, over trail obstacles, and on trails. She is very green still and needs an experienced rider to continue working with her.Shy's foster home continues to work with her under saddle.
