About Janie
Janie was removed from a negligent owner by the sheriff’s department and placed with BEHS. She recovered and her sweet personality showed through. Her foster home was new to fostering for BEHS, and they quickly decided to give her a home for life. She's going to live a pampered and much loved existence! Congrats to Janie and Leslie!
Evaluation and Training
Janie is a sweet mare. She is a little reserved, but she becomes more friendly as she gets to know her handler. She leads, loads, stands to have her feet handled, stands for grooming and fly spray. She is beginning to learn to longe. She’s a big, pretty mover who will have potential as a hunter, jumper, or dressage horse.
Janie is competing with Leslie Wolff in the foster horse under saddle division of the 2013 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. She will be available for adoption at the Challenge on October 19th, 2013 at the Bluebonnet Horse Expo in Austin, Texas.
