About Spice
Spice and her herdmates were surrendered to BEHS when their owner was investigated for neglect.
Spice won the professional division of the 2016 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge and was adopted at the event by her Challenge trainer.
Evaluation and Training
Spice spent fourth months with Riva England to be started under saddle and compete in the professional division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. They rode in arenas and over obstacles. At their first horse show, they won 2nd place in trail, 3rd place in ranch reining, 3rd place in heritage pleasure, 1st place in ranch riding, 2nd place in ranch pleasure, and High Point Grand Champion! In addition to these many western classes, Spice has also been ridden English and started over jumps. There is so much potential in this horse!
