About Creek
Creek was surrendered to Bluebonnet when his owners were investigated for neglect. In 2016, Creek won the In Hand Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge, and he placed 2nd in the professional division in 2017. He was adopted at the event by someone who met him before he began training for the Challenge. Congrats to Creek and Gaila!
Evaluation and Training
Creek spent a month with a foster home preparing to compete in the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge in 2016. She worke with him in hand and taught him to navigate trail obstacles. They won the In Hand Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge.
This year, Creek is spending four months with trainer Jodi Brassard. Jodi has started him under saddle, and she has ridden him on trails, in arenas, over obstacles, and around cattle. He's going to make someone a nice trail or pleasure horse!
