About Miss Bailey
Miss Bailey was rescued by a woman who later placed her with Bluebonnet Equine Humane Society. Miss Bailey was assigned to the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge in the non-pro division in spring 2019. Her Challenge partner fell in love with her and decided to adopt her instead of compete!
Evaluation and Training
Miss Bailey’s former owner said she was broke to ride, but it appears she was very green when she arrived at Bluebonnet. She was enrolled in the Non-Pro under saddle division of the 2018 Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge. Her non-pro rider had difficulty with her under saddle and decided to drop out of the Challenge. Trainer Darrell Gardner has had her from September-October and has done well with her. He’s riding her at a walk, trot, and canter in the arena and working over trail obstacles. She’s still green but has the potential to do almost anything!
