Takoda was surrendered when his owners were investigated for neglect. Nothing is known of his history. Takoda is good natured and enjoys attention. Takoda was in very poor condition when he arrived, but he gained weight thanks to the hard work of his foster home. Unfortunately, Takoda had an old injury that caused lameness. That lameness was growing progressively worse, and despite hard work from a team of veterinarians we could not keep him comfortable. We made the tough decision to help him cross the Rainbow Bridge.
