Dutch is a handsome, big horse who has been spoiled in the past and allowed to use his size to intimidate people. According to his former owner, he had a rider on his back a few times but was not really trained to ride. His foster home has been working with him on basic ground manners and says right now he can't be tied because he learned about sitting back prior to coming to Bluebonnet. His immediate response to new stimuli and fear is to sit back. He needs an experienced handler/trainer who can work on his ground manners and then start him under saddle.
