About Chocolate Chip
Chocolate Chip's sire (Henry) and dam (Cookie) were surrendered to BEHS when their owner was investigated for neglect. Cookie was already pregnant and gave birth to Chocolate Chip several months later. Fortunately Chocolate Chip has lived in his in foster homes and with adopters, so he's always been well-cared for. He was adopted in December 2012 after his adopter heard about Chocolate Chip from a customer at his feed store.
Evaluation and Training
Chocolate Chip has not been trained to ride, but he is catchable and halterable. He leads, loads, stands tied, and stands for the farrier. He loves to be groomed and while he's not crazy about fly spray, he will tolerate it. Chocolate Chip loves people and loves attention. He's a great age to train to ride or drive and could be a fun show, pleasure or trail mule.
