Pandora was discovered starving in a field along with her young filly and four other herdmates. They were starving and had no water – despite 100+ degree temperatures! The sheriff’s department and BEHS worked together to remove Pandora and others and get them the care they deserved. Once she gained weight, we discovered that she was well-trained. We also discovered that she had once been a race horse. Pandora was adopted as an endurance horse and has been competing successfully. Her adopter says people cannot believe she came from a rescue!
