About Sir Lancelot
Lancelot owners surrendered him to Bluebonnet when they could no longer care for him. He is a stout 15 hands, he leads, loads in trailer, enjoys being groomed and he gets along with other horses.
Sir Lancelot was returned in January of 2024, through no fault of his own.
Evaluation and Training
Lancelot's previous owners never trained him to be ridden. His foster home started groundwork in the round pen and then began riding him in February 2022. She said he doesn't really want to trot, but they're working on it. He hasn't offered to buck or misbehave in any way.
His foster "mom" says he has a great disposition, and she would adopt him if that wouldn't fill up all of her spaces and leave her unable to foster. Someone will get a great deal for a sweet horse who still has many years to enjoy riding with. His adoption fee will increase as his training increases.
