About Meria
Meria was placed with Bluebonnet when her owner could no longer keep her.
Meria loves adults and children. Everyone that meets her just wants to spoil her and give her love. She is a real sweetheart and a great addition to a family with small kids who want a first horse.
Evaluation and Training
Meria will walk away in pasture if she sees a halter, so you need to catch her with food or without being obvious. She loads well, leads well, and loves grooming. She is also great for the farrier. The foster home hasn’t tied her because she stands well without being tied.
Meria’s foster home’s 3-year-old grandchild had led her around under supervision.
