About Bubbles
Bubbles was rescued by her previous owner and then placed with Bluebonnet when she could not keep her any longer.
Bubbles will be competing in the In Hand 13 and Up Division of the Bluebonnet Horse Expo and Rescue Horse Training Challenge with trainer Stephanie Brown. You can follow their progress on their Facebook page CLICK HERE

Evaluation and Training
Bubbles doesn't seem to have been handled much before coming to Bluebonnet, so her foster home has been working hard to teach her to be a good equine citizen. She's still nervous and doesn't like being touched behind her ears, so while she's not terribly hard to catch, she is still hard to halter. She is improving, though, with work. She's leading much better and is learning to stand tied. She does like grooming and baths! She's learning to load into a trailer as well.
She's a cute, young mare who may grow another inch or two but will always be a large pony. She's looking for a home who is willing to invest some time winning her trust and teaching her about the world. Because she was not well fed when young, she should not be started under saddle for at least another year - she needs the chance to grow and recover.
Bubbles is young and is learning personal space. When he does not want to do something, he might try to bite to get away from dining something. His trainer is working with him on this.
