Evaluation and Training

Turbo is a flaxen chestnut miniature horse who absolutely adores kids. If you’re wondering where he got his name, it’s from the movie Turbo with the super-fast snail. Which couldn’t fit him better. Because when asked he can move fast, but in the same breath can slow down to a snail's space with a simple “whoa”. In the short weeks he has been with us we have come to discover he has a GREAT mind, and he loves to learn. He is a confident guy and a bit of a ladies' man, but can you blame him? He’s a handsome fella and he knows it. He is the first to run to the gate and greet you with the sweetest nicker.
Turbo is working on standing quietly while tied, lifting all four hooves at ease, no spooking, controlling fearful emotions, side passing, and disengaging hind end. His trainer has even saddled him and put her little kids on him.
