About Tatooine
Tatooine was removed from negligent owners and placed with Bluebonnet by law enforcement. She had not been handled in quite some time when she arrived and had a large mass on one rear leg. Her veterinarian removed the mass and biopsies revealed that it was proud flesh. She will likely have a scar but seems to have no problems with that leg.
Evaluation and Training
Although Tatooine had not been handled in a while before she was placed with Bluebonnet, she was friendly and good to catch when she arrived.
In April 2024, she was tested under saddle. She was a little girthy when saddled but stood well to be mounted and was able to walk, trot, and canter under saddle. Her rider said she has more whoa than go.
