To celebrate our 19th anniversary (February 28, 2005), we’re having an online fundraising auction and we’re participating in Amplify Austin.
Amplify Austin is a 24 hour period of fundraising for organizations operating in Austin, Texas and surrounding areas, and Bluebonnet has always had an active presence in the area. In 2023, we raised approximately $33,000 during Amplify Austin, and we hope to top that and raise $35,000 this year. That would be an awesome way to celebrate our anniversary!
This year’s Amplify Austin takes place March 6-7, 2024.
During Amplify Austin, there are funds given to all organizations and additional funds for animal-related organizations. We’ll get a percentage of those funds, based on how much money we raise in fundraisers.
You can help us by visiting our Amplify Austin page to schedule your donation. You can also create your own Amplify Austin fundraiser on that page and help us raise funds for Bluebonnet.
Also, we’re looking for donors willing to pledge matching funds. What is a matching fund? It is when a donor sets aside funds to match the first X dollars raised (or raised at a certain time during Amplify Austin). For instance, you might pledge $500 to match the first $500 in funds raised at 10pm on March or you might pledge $2,500 to match the first $2,500 raised.
If you are willing to set up a matching fund, please email Jennifer with your pledge amount, how you would like your matching fund listed (with your name, your business name, a horse’s name, or annonymous, etc.) and we can get that set up.
