2020 is the 14th Bluebonnet Horse Expo!  The event has grown from a small event at Silver Hills Stables in Manor to a fantastic expo at the Williamson County Expo Center.

2020 has brought new challenges to the Bluebonnet Horse Expo. Because of the pandemic, we were uncertain how we could hold the Expo, stay within the state and facility’s guidelines, and keep everyone safe.

So we made the exciting decision to take the Bluebonnet Horse Expo virtual this year!  And instead of just one Expo day, we’re going to have an entire Expo week:  October 10-18, 2020.

How does this work?  We’re asking clinicians to video presentations, and we’re asking clinicians if they would be willing to do a live Q&A session via Zoom.  We’re going to have an online auction, we’ll be introducing the the foster horses via videos, and we’re going to add in a virtual horse show and donation drive.

The Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge in person/live (unless the facility cancels all events) and plan on livestreaming it for those who can’t attend.

While we won’t get to meet in person, we can still come together to chat via Zoom, we can learn via video presentations, and shop at the online auction.  And together, we’ll help a lot of needy horses.

If you are an equine professional who would like to give a video presentation, have questions about the event, or want to get more involved, please email me

We’ll be updating the Bluebonnet Horse Expo website, adding clinician announcements, and more.  You can follow us on Facebook  and check out our website to learn more.

I look forward to seeing you virtually in October.
