The holidays are nearly here and we’re raising funds to help even more horses throughout 2023.  So far, since we opened our doors, we’ve taken in over 1,310 horses – with several more on the way to the rescue before the year ends. And we know there will be many more horses needing our help.

Sadly, rescuing horses is expensive and we need your help to give these formerly abused, abandoned, neglected, and unwanted horses the help they need and deserve.

For 2022, we expect to spend over:

  • $90,000 on veterinary care
  • $10,000 on farrier care
  • $60,000 on hay and grain (foster homes often donate the price of hay and grain or this figure out be higher)
  • $18,000 to transport horses
  • $14,000 helping horses whose owners are struggling to care for them (through euthanasia funds, gelding funds, or hay/feed)

Your donation is so important to help us continue providing quality care to the horses who need us and to also help horses whose owners are struggling to care for them through a temporary financial hardship.

As of December 12, 2022, we’re 39% of the way to our year end goal (including #GivingToHorses for #GivingTuesday donations).

Thank you for your support – none of us can do this work alone, but we do great things when we work together.
