Foster horses Winnie and Shelly stayed warm during the recent Texas freeze thanks to Weatherbeeta USA, Horse.com, and State Line Tack’s Cover your Horse, Comfort Another donation program.
Bluebonnet received donated blankets to help keep foster horses warm, and these two girls both appreciated the comfort. Shelly is still gaining weight after arriving emaciated, and the extra warmth from the blanket meant she didn’t spend extra calories keeping warm. While Winnie is in good shape, she is not an easy keeper and her blanket meant she didn’t burn the calories she needs to maintain her weight.
