In the event staff, volunteers or other animal caregivers are injured (including but not limited to kicks, bites, scratches, stepped on, etc) while providing care to a foster horse, any open wounds must be washed with soap and water.
Any injuries requiring advanced first aid or medical attention must then be immediately reported to the Foster Coordinator and Executive Director.
