BEHS 027 – Nellie

Nellie's had a rough life. Her former owner could not care for her and died, leaving her to family who did not want her. When she came to BEHS, her hooves resembled skis and she needed a lot of farrier care. She has been adopted twice before and returned because she did not fit in well at her adopters. Her new adopter fostered her first and fell in love and we hope the third time is the charm for Nellie. She was adopted by someone who plans to care for her hooves and eventually use her as a therapy horse.
