About Patton

Patton was placed with Bluebonnet by a rescue that was closing down.

Patton will be competing in the Non Pro in Hand 12 & Up Division of the Bluebonnet Rescue Horse Training Challenge with Anne Van Dyke. He will be available for adoption at the Challenge during the Bluebonnet Horse Expo on October 17, 2020 in Taylor, Texas.

You can follow their progress on their Facebook page.

Evaluation and Training

We don't know if Patton was not handled much in his life or was handled poorly/abused, but he is very nervous with new people and places and he has a lot of fear issues. He's currently with a trainer who is working through his issues. His trainer has made good progress on the ground. He's going to need an adopter who can be patient and consistent with him to help him be the best horse he can be.
